Fredericks Foundation is a charitable organization that aids disadvantaged people who aspire to run their own business but are unable to obtain the necessary finance, through the usual channels to do so due to issues resulting from poverty, disability, long-term unemployment, or even a criminal record. The Frederick foundation facilitates people and helps them rebuilding their confidence as well as self esteem. Consequently help them realise their potential for the benefit of themselves and their families.
Fredericks Foundation has yet branched out to assist existing companies in need of finance who are unable to obtain it from their banks. The Fredericks foundation charity is funded through a number of different ways, including substantial donations from its founder, Paul Barry-Walsh on a regular basis.

Dominic List in association with Fredericks Foundation and The British Library is searching for London’s next business millionaire?
The competition aims to award loans for five entrepreneurs who have proved their pitch viability to a panel of business expert judges. Not only will the five best competitors get a start-up loan, they will also receive follow-up support from The British Library’s Business and IP Centre.
The aim of the competition is to provide young people the chance to become an entrepreneur who have failed to secure funding via more traditional routes, possibly due to issues resulting from poverty, disability, long-term unemployment, or even a criminal record.
Dominic List has donated 150 billboards for advertising space which will be placed in and around London to boost the publicity of the competition, as well as gain the attention of discouraged entrepreneurs in the search of becoming ‘London’s next business millionaire. Dominic will also be playing an active part in the evaluation of the projects including the “Dragons Den” style awards panel.

Completed applications and business plans must be returned to us by email by 30 November 2009 for consideration.
Judging Process
All entries will be reviewed at Fredericks Foundation. The 10 best business plans will be sent to a panel of judges where points will be assigned to each plan based on the idea, feasibility and argument.
The judges will announce the top 6 finalists who will be invited to present there business plan to the panellist which will consist of Dominic List MD Comtact Ltd, Paul Barry-Walsh Founder of Fredericks Foundation, Dragon’s Den judge Julie Meyer, MD of ELSBC and a member of the British Library.
This event will be held on the 11th December followed by a press release on the 12th December 2009 to announce winner and “London’s Next Business Millionaire”.
